Widows and Orphans Care and Program

Orphans and Widows Care & Empowerment Program in Neighboring Countries

Launched in December 2013, this flagship program is at the heart of Kuramaa’s efforts to support war-affected Syrian families. It provides comprehensive educational, psychological, and vocational services to the most vulnerable orphans and widows—both inside Syria and in neighboring countries.
The program transforms hardship into strength, and need into productivity.

The program is carried out through four centers located in:

  • Lebanon – Two centers in Tripoli

  • Jordan – One center in Amman

  • Turkey – One center in Antakya

  • 325 orphaned children

  • 125 widowed mothers

  • Total: 450 individuals receiving holistic care and support

The program delivers a range of integrated activities designed to nurture and empower both orphans and widows, including:

  • Recreational trips

  • Character building and etiquette

  • Sports and entertainment

  • Productive kitchen training

  • Sewing and wool crafts

  • Handicrafts and creative arts

  • Social, psychological, and health awareness sessions

Education and Upbringing Program

This program aims to enhance the academic achievement of orphaned students and elevate them to the highest levels of knowledge

University Education Program

This program aims to cover university tuition fees, including installments, the purchase of books and necessary school supplies for a full academic year, as well as living expenses
