In 2018, the Kuramaa Organization had the honor of welcoming a delegation from Green Lane Masjid and Community Centre in the United Kingdom. The special visit aimed to witness firsthand the humanitarian efforts taking place within the organization’s educational and social centers and to explore ways to empower orphans and widows.
The delegation toured various departments of the organization, gaining close insight into the educational programs, psychological support services, and healthcare and social care provided to beneficiaries. They also engaged in heartfelt interactions with orphaned children and listened to the personal stories and struggles of widowed mothers.
A deep and open discussion was held with the organization’s leadership, addressing the funding and logistical challenges facing the sustainability of the work. The delegation expressed their appreciation for the dedication and resilience shown despite the difficult circumstances.
In a generous and impactful gesture, the delegation offered immediate financial and logistical support, reflecting a strong sense of global humanitarian solidarity and directly contributing to the organization’s capacity to continue serving vulnerable communities.
This visit from Green Lane Masjid stands as a significant milestone in the Kuramaa Organization’s journey — a testament to the international recognition, transparency, and credibility that define our humanitarian mission.
